Not that important of an update really. I've decided to change my aura to light. I chose to do this for a couple of reasons really.

For one, my general voting disposition is to be very optimistic about new movies and games. I usually vote 3+ on movies and games, and I tend to give really high scores and positive feedback when writing reviews (that is, when I did write reviews).

And second, blue is great and goes pretty well with a lot of the levels. The contrast in colors just looks awesome. I've been neutral for a long time, and the green was sort of getting old to be honest.

Now if we had a purple aura I'd be all over that in a heartbeat ;)

And I'm sure everyone else is as well.

Shit Flash movies and games that make it through the Portal.

It happens far too often. These entries usually end up as the Turd of the Week, but they shouldn't even be allowed to get that far.
Isn't Wade or someone monitoring this shit? These retarded club submissions make it through due to mass voting by their members. That's not all though, sometimes really poor submissions make it through by a single person unaffiliated with any shit crew. How it gets through is beyond me but it does.

I think with the introduction of the new portals (whenever that will be) there should be an overhaul of the Portal system. Flashes with a score below a certain point and voted on by so many members should be removed. And I know the users are supposed to be the quality control for this site when it comes to letting submissions stay on NG, but some people don't do their job properly. Users need to take a bigger interest in the kinds of submissions getting through the Portal. I nor anyone else wants to see this site flooded with bullshit Kitty Krew or 4chan /b/tard shit animations.

Oh and as a side note, accounts with a certain amount of time of inactivity should also be deleted. Got that idea from another thread on General. Sounds good to me!

It's been a long time since I last really deposited experience here. So I decided not too long ago to finally start doing so again in order to get out of level 23, the ax.

Well today is the day! Level 24 now. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to stay at this level now. I may deposit here and there, but I really like the way level 24 looks; the levels after it for like 2 or 3 levels don't really appeal to me.
24 is nice. It will get more notice on the forums I suppose. And I guess it signifies me as a fairly long time user, so that's good.

EDIT2: I'm loving my gold Chinaman level icon by the way. What I don't understand is why doesn't every user have it? Some users that I've seen on the bulletin board system [spelled out to avoid word filter] still have their old level icons.

Decided to make a new userbar that was a little more stylish and tech-like. I rather like it, though I believe I will edit some things and add a little more graphic stuff. Wasn't hard at all really, just some glowing effect around the lettering and then glowing edges on the whole thing. Photoshop makes me happy :D

So I was looking through some of my REALLY old reviews, mostly of those with responses or low ratings.
I feel quite ashamed of myself that I used to write like that. Such complete garbage. Some reviews contained only a few words! Nowadays, I make it a point to fully critique the flash in every review I do, not just slap up some nonsense just for the sake of getting another review.
I'd like to apologize to any flash artist who received one of my older reviews on their movies/games. I was a stupid kid back then, and your work deserves more than just "This is shit! Blam!!" or "I liked it kthnxbai"

I promise to continue reviewing fairly and critiquing every work to the best of my abilities. I won't let you flash artists down!
